Traditional Orthodontics
If you are looking for a solution for advanced alignment concerns, traditional braces are for you. Traditional braces use a series of metal brackets and wires to gently shift teeth into their proper alignment. If you decide that traditional braces are the right solution for you, the process will take 18 to 24 months on average. During this time, you will need to visit for regular adjustments and check-ups.
Invisalign
Easily the most popular smile alignment option for adults and teens alike, Invisalign allows us to correct even advanced bite misalignments without noticeable metal brackets and wires required for traditional orthodontic treatment. Instead, Invisalign utilizes a series of clear, plastic alignment trays that gently shift smiles into alignment over the course of about twelve months. Each set of alignment trays represents one step closer to the ideal bite alignment. When worn for several weeks, the pressure from these aligners moves teeth closer to the desired result. Best of all, these aligners are almost completely invisible to the untrained observer, so all your friends, family, and co-workers will see is your beautiful smile. Unlike traditional braces, you will not need to change your diet or oral hygiene routine. Instead, simply remove the aligners during meals and while brushing and flossing. Every six weeks to two months, you will need to visit our office to ensure your smile is progressing as planned. Most patients complete treatment in about a year.
Six Month Smiles
We use the Cfast and Six Month Smiles braces systems on minimal misalignment of the “social six” front teeth. Cfast and Six Month Smiles systems use clear and tooth colored brackets and wires that are pre-made in a dental lab to gently shift the front teeth into their ideal alignment. With just a few gentle adjustments to these brackets and wires over the course of four to eight months, you can have the picture-perfect smile you desire.
